Merge multiple surfaces in one surface defined by all the points

Hello evreryone,

If you have any idea please!

I have a group of 48 surfaces, I would like to divide this groupe by 6, so merge 6 element in one surface defined by all the points of this 6 surfaces.

In attached, I upload the file rhino.

Thanks in advance!

Tarik is Italian OK for you? Just so that other users may chime in.

Here comes the model and the GH definition

Diviso6.gh (9,3 KB)

You are working using “meters”. CAD is not paper and pencil. CAD looks for numbers and does not care about units. But, by working in meters, you are generating incredibly numerically small geometries.

Small numbers may fire-back when you will need to trim, intersect or perform other tasks where values will get super small and close to the tolerance settings.

In the attached model I switched to Centimeters. This will provide a decent enough size.

Having said that, the input curves are degree 1 lines, You are not going to merge much. The GH definition attached starts from solving this by rebuilding them into two single curves (Deg 3) with internal Curvature continuity (C2). Now you can subdivide and split in 6 parts each curve and Loft appropriate pair into single srfs (different colors).

Not to be rude but from your questions it looks like you are quite green to Rhino. Should this be the case, adding the basic understanding of a NURBS modeler and GH programming is a mix impossible to handle… just my 2c…
