Massimo hai installato qualche programma dopo rhino? Se una applicazione
installata successivamente ti sostituisce una o più librerie può capitare questo.

E come fai a dire che è Rhino che ha crashato il computer allora.
C’è stato un crash e il JIT ti ha detto cosa succedeva in quel momento. Cioè quale programma era attivo. Rhino quando crasha ti presenta la finestra con il rinoceronte e la palla bucata (allegata) e ti chiede se vuoi inviare il contenuto del crash dump in McNeel per poterlo analizzare in modo da capire dove - all’interno di Rhino - è avvenuto il crash.

non so, ti dico cosa è successo mentre chiudevo e aprivo un altro file.
Il fatto di dover gestire i files sia su 7 che su 6 credo che non aiuti ma vediamo a settembre quando installerò un disco molto più veloce e una maggiore memoria.

Queste indicazioni che dai sono invece utilissime se si dovesse presentare una situazione simile.
Non hai idea di quante persone potrebbero un giorno trovarsi alle prese con problema simile. Speriamo invece di trovare la causa e poter considerare risolto il caso con una spiegazione!

non vedo l’ora di poter usare solo 7, il problema maggiore sarà il plugin di KS che davvero non so che fare perchè anche loro mi sembra siano parecchio “casinisti” con l’assistenza.
Vorrei avere un’alternativa a KS ma è molto difficile.

Sono sicuro di avere KS 10 (mi pare) su Rhino 7 in una macchina… non mi serve passare da Rhino 6.

anche KS 9 gira su Rhino 7 se non sbaglio… ma potrei dire una fesseria. ma gli aggiornamenti non sono gratuiti (all’interno della stessa versione dico) perchè non aggiorni in questo caso? Anche per il supporto KS diventa impossibile aiutare con un sistema operativo aggiornato e una versione del prodotto vecchia. Rischi di rimanere in una sorta di limbo di incertezza.

I 2 programmi in questione (Rhino e KeyShot) lavorano indipendentemente o simultaneamente nelle loro varie versioni (almeno le più recenti) se il pc ha la potenzialità di farlo.
Forse il dubbio viene se vuoi concederti la comodità di aprire direttamente KS attraverso il plugin installato in Rhino che permette inoltre, cosa non da poco, di effettuare correzioni alla geometria ed averle in tempo reale in KS appunto.
Io sostengo che il problema è hardware, ma passerei prima per una installazione pulita del sistema operativo e il successivo caricamento di tutti gli altri programmi.
